Pulled ALL of my hair out

Guess this is what happends when you are soooo stressed out.

The 28th came and went

The 28th finally came. We went to see the neurosurgeon and now it is gone. We now wait for our next date to come - May 8th. Not much new was told to us today. They did confirm that surgery will be needed for both kids and that by surprise, Cooper's is actually worse than Carson. Cooper's brain is actually starting to get a bit squeezed and so there is fluid in places there shouldn't be and not enough in places there should be. Both kids will be having MRI's on May 8th because of that. Then, on May 18th we will be visiting with Dr. Jensen, the other half of the surgical team - Craniofacial (plastic surgery). So, no surgery date is set yet, it will depend on what the MRI's show.
Until next time.....

56 hours and counting

Until the much anticipated trip to Milwaukee to see the neurosurgeon. It seems like it has been months since we made this appointment! I can't even begin to tell you how anxious I am. I have been so stress out about the whole ordeal that I have blow my diet totally out of the water - gaining 6 of the 15 lbs back. It is true.....I am an emotional eatter. But, who can blame me. (For you that don't blame the stress....keep your comments to yourself.) If anyone is truely interested in our situation, I invite you to cruz' through this message board - cappkids.org - It stands for Craniosynostosis And Positional Plagiocephaly Support. I have learned a lot from this message board. There seems to be a few people from our area who are going through the same thing and are seeing the same doctors. I know not everyones situations are the same but it's nice to aleast have some sort of a clue.
I am attaching 2 pics I just took of Cooper and Carson's heads. They both have partial sagittal fusions going on, but 2 totally different shapes.

Carson's is "bossing" in the back and starting to "boss" in the front. Her soft spot is also starting to get pushed up. Looks like a lump on the top of her head. Coopers is long and narrow in the back and wide at the front. No "bossing" going on. Go figure. Like I said before.....Friday can't
here soon enough. I need to know what's truely gone on.

Until Friday......have a great Wed and Thursday!

Oh Crap, I've been tagged.

Thanks Molly for tagging me! Not much I can do about it now, so if I must.......

5 things that are strange about me. HUM....

1. I had a blue little baby blanket that had the satin edging on it and I just finally gave it up and gave it to Keegan when he was born! Matt was very glad to see it go!

2. I love blankets with the satin eadging on it. When I am using it, I have to have a corner and I stick 1 finger inside of it. Weird? I know.

3. I can't stand it when kids bite on their towels.......it makes my skin crawl!

4. I can't stand zipping up zippers. The vibration it makes drives me crazy!!!

and finally.....
5. I can not stand to sleep with socks on!

Ok Becky....I am tagging you. Let's hear all about it!

Say Cheese!

Hope everyone had a great Easter! We had a great, but long and semi stressful Easter weekend. Saturday, we had a great family outing at our local class A minor leage baseball team. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are the farm team for the Seattle Mariners. The games are a lot of fun and very family oriented. Last year Matt had won a suite that we could use for the 2006 season and we had decided to use it. The kids love it. We even got a photo opportunity with "Fang". Carson was also very intregued.
Then, after the "base game", as Riley and Keegan call it, we had a pizza party back at our house. Our friends from Indiana were there and Matt's family from Chicago were also there. It was nice catching up with everyone.
Sunday morning, Carson and Cooper were baptised at Easter mass. Let me tell you, we had a ton of people. Cooper had his God parents, Kerri Olsen and Tom Robinson, Carson had her God Parents - Kevin and Molly Ray, plus Erin and Brian Benes were honorary for both kids. Plus our family and close friends and everybodys kids. We had a crew!
After mass we all come back to our house for a Easter / baptism feast. Let me tell you, there was no point counting that weekend.
It was wild, and fun! We had a great time.
Now it's back to reality. There is laundry to be done, a house to be cleaned and lets not forget the stress and anticipation that is brewing around here awiting the kids NS appointment on the 28th.
I need to be bluntly honest with you. It is all starting to take it's toll on me. I have been having weird vision issues, headaches, and pain in the base of my head/neck area. I am trying so hard not to let it get to me or bug me but how is that possible? I am streched to the max. Maybe now that the baptism is done, I won't have to worry about so much at once. Hopefully I will be able to find time to myself and relax! Yah Right, maybe in my next life.

Tish....This is the purse Linda sent me. Isn't it great?

Until next time America.

Are you STILL there God?!?!?

...Ok, I have had about enough of all of this CRAP that you are putting us through! I know it is Easter and it's a big day for you, but geez louis....Give US a break man! All I can do is sit and wonder if I caused this all be having them early?!?!?! I can't imagine what else it would be.
Do I not go to church enough? Is it because I yell at my kids on the days I have totally lost it?
What???? What did I do to deserve all of this? Please tell me!!!!

Now we sit and think....if they need to have surgery, do we do them together? One at a time? Hire a nanny? Is it covered by our insurance????? Move to Milwaukee???

Please answer me!!!!!!!!!!

Are you there God....

..no, it's not Margaret, it's Cindy. Listen up pal, we need to chat, not about my period, about Cooper, but not until tomorrow though. I need to see what you are going to do for Cooper first. He has his CT scan tomorrow morning at 7:15 am....you better be there! And, if you give this family one more thing to stress over, I'm going to $#%^*$%^&$*%#$, OK? Do not tell us that Cooper's head is also starting to fuse.
This chat is to be continued.........

Consumed by desire

This.Is.My.Life. - In a nutshell. Oldest to youngest. I know I ALWAYS write about these 4 little people, but This.Is.My.Life.
What did I do? Who was I? Before these 4 little people came about?
I could write about the cat that Matt and I used to have . Parker. He was an orange and white tabby.
Fat Cat. If he was hungry and you didn't feed him exactly when he wanted to eat, he would play dare devil kitty and chew through our electrical cords. So my options were: feed the damn cat, or lose all our expensive electronics and have a fried kitty. Bless his little heart....He is now looking down upon us from up above.

I could write about the dog we used to have. Silly me. NEVER get a
lab puppy when your twins are only 10 months old. What in the hell was I thinking. Anyways..... Bentley. Our attention seeking puppy. Everyone commented on how calm this dog was for being a puppy. Which, he was. Until you placed him in a crate. Not a good thing usless you want your house full of dog spit....from barking so much! He ate our couch, our phone, the kids toys.......you name it he did it. Until one day, Bentley went on a permanent vacation....as my kids know it. He found a nice couple who were not able to have children of their own and were looking for a "baby". They made a great 3 -some. I hear he is doing well and loves his new home.

So, that brings me right back to the 4 little people in the picture above. I would much rather write about them then anything else. If you get sick of hearing about them then tough because
This. Is. My. Life.

~ It's a small world ~

Ok, first..I have been asked to to blog again. If I was smart.....I wouldn't have place this picture of Cooper's hernia in the begining of the blog. Now everytime someone checks to see if I have blogged, you see Cooper's "inside's". Sorry about that. :)
Ok, on to business.
About 3 yrs ago I was reconnect with my childhood friend Becky. She grew up across the street from us. My family moved off of Ridge lane when I was in 8th grade and we sort of lost touch . We saw each other in high school, but didn't converse much. She was a year old than me and we hung out with different people. Once we were both out of school, my mom or I would occasionally run into her mom and we would learn bits and pieces of what she was up too. About 3 yrs ago, I had ran into her mom at Kohl's department store. I had just given birth to Riley and Keegan. Her mom had told me that she was pregnant with her first and was living in Conn. and that she was married and had 2 step children. It was wonderful to hear that she was doing well. About a month or so after seeing her mom, I got an email from Becky and she had found me on classmates.com. It was so good to hear from her. Some time later, after a few emails, I had let her know that the kids and I were going ot be out in New Jersey at my grandmother's and that if it would work, it would be great to get together. So, while we were in Jersey, she and her 2 step children and her new little boy Josh came to visit. It was great. We had a good time catching up. It's funny how time flies by and so much happends.....when you look back from when we were in grade school. It makes me smile. We had such a good time growing up together. I remember when we used to dance in our family room to Michael Jackson's "beat it" and we used to make up our own dances.....laughing. Oh how much fun we had.
She comes home ever so often and we met up. I just found out last time she was here that I live almost directly across the street from her cousin, who we also hung out with during Jr high.
It truely is a small world. Becky is looking into starting her own blog as she also now has a toddler and a baby. Can't wait to read Becky!!! Good Luck! Thanks for tracking me down on Classmates..it's be great catching up!

One down, two to go.

Well, It has been an eventful week here at our house. Cooper had his hernia surgery a week early. It was supposed to be done on the 7th, but the the doctor called and asked if we wouldn't mind having it a week early. So, finally, it's over. Cooper was a champ. He did terrific. The surgery lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Not bad. They made an incesion under his belly button and scoped both his left and right groin areas. They only found the hernia on the left. They then made about an 1 1/2 incesion and repaired the left side. (the picture isn't the great but if you look up at the right corner of the picture you can see a line that goes down about 1/2 inch...that's the hernia that needed to be sewn shut.)Get this, they gave him an epidural. I thought that was pretty funny. I thought they were only used on pregnant women. Who knew?
Anyways....I wish I had a camera when he can rolling out of the recovery room. He was laughing and flirting with the nurses...... It was cute. I am sure he was feeling pretty good at that point.
Except.....that all changed a few hours later. His pain meds must have worn off because he was a hurting little boy. With being so small they could only give him tylenol. I felt so bad for him. Needless to say, neither of us got much sleep that night. He was examined the next morning and we were free to go home.

Today, Carson had her head messured again. Let me back up a second. Not sure If I have blogged about this, but Carson has been dealing with some "head size" issues for a couple of weeks. Her head has actually been growing to fast and in a "toaster" shape. So, our doctor has been watching her closely. Carson had a CT scan while she was in the NICU to make sure things were growing well and that the bones hadn't prematurely started to fuse. Everything looked great at that point. Except...her head has continued to grow funny and fast. She had a second CT scan about 2 weeks ago and they found that there was a small area behind her soft spot that has started to fuse together...which if it countinues to fuse it could start squeezing her little brain...NOT GOOD.
So, today....Carson had a 3rd measurement done and a 3rd CT scan. At 4.5 months old her head size is off the growth chart, which makes us a little nervous. In 2 weeks her head grew 1 1/2 cm.
So, she has an appointment with the neurosurgeon at Children's in Milwaukee on the 28th. She now needs to have x-rays done so they can see how bad the fusing is. They call this head growth / fusing thing "Craniosynostosis". WARNING....if you are like me and want to look this up...I must warn you that some of the pictures you may come across are very graphic. Just to warn you. I was no way ready for what I saw. Expecially the after surgery ones. She has also been having some issues with her left eye wondering. They said if she wasn't a preemie there would be nothing to worry about but since she was she needs to see the ped ophthalmologist.

So, it's our next hurdle that God has given us. Hopefully we will be strong enough for this.

Riley also has an appointment with the neurologist on the 24 th and then the neurosurgeon that same day with Carson for her A. Chiari Malformation. I'm sure it was be just a joyous day!
Oh yah....It was also weigh in day. I must be honest with you. This week was TERRIBLE! With the stress of Cooper's surgery and not being able to work out all week because the school was out for spring break....I crashed and burned big time. But, there must have been someone watching from above because when I stepped on the scale this morning it said I had lost 1 pound! I could not believe my eyes. So, I am now down 12 lbs!! Hopefully this week will be much better!

Only a ZILLION more to go!

Week three weigh in came and went, but never the less it was ok. I lost another 2 lbs this week. A total of 11 lbs so far. I was a little frustrated with it because I worked out 4 days instead of my normal 3 days, I felt I ate a bit better than the others and still only 2 lbs. But, that's ok. I know that if I lose to fast the chance of keeping it off is less likely. So....I will be ok with my 2 lbs. My girlfriend KERRI came over yesterday(Monday) and she gave me a few good pointers. If you eat less than 20 points a day your body thinks it is starving and will hang onto the fat. Well, Maybe that's my first issue. I have been known to eat less than 20 points on a few occasions. So...If I can remember to eat in between my point range maybe I'll do better. Also, She taught me that if you exercise you earn more points...which I hadn't been doing either. By the chart, I should be earning another 2 points a day for every day that I work out. So, I really have been on the low end of the point scale these past weeks.
So, with all of my new info, hopefully I can lose 2.5 - 3 lbs this coming week. My goal is to be down 20 lbs by Easter....so far with my 2 lbs a week I will be down 17 by Easter. So we'll see what this week brings.
Just remember.....happy healthy eatting!

God needs to have his head examined

Can I just say.......I HAVE HAD IT WITH GOD!. My friend Molly sent me an e-card that states," God doesn't give us anything that we can't handle." Well, I'm not sure about that these days. First....God must have decided that Matt and I would be good canidates for 2 babies instead of one. I am not sure why, but he did. Then, after watching us struggle with raising not 1 but 2 babies...he must have thought we were doing a great job becuse he decided that we needed another set. Not only a second set, but a set that comes 2 months early, and has to spend 26 and 39 days in the NICU. You would have thought that would have been enough, right? God must be smokin' something because he decided that not only should we have 4 beautiful babies, but he thought, "Heck, they are doing such a great job, let's throw in a twist. Let's give their daughter Riley a brain disorder that could possibly one day paralize her or even worse, take her life." Matt and I adjusted and are reasearching everything we can about A. Chiari Malformation and Doctors who specialize in it. Well, God must not have been pleased on how well we are adjusting. Then he says, "Let's throw in a little something for Cooper, their 3rd child. Let's give him something not so dramatic, but that would need surgery to fix." So, God blessed Cooper with a hernia. It's easy to fix, but once again....it's another hurdle for Matt and Cindy to jump over. We will over come this on April 7th at Children's Hospital and Cooper should do well. Well, you would think that God would atleast wait until Cooper's surgery is over to throw something else at us. Nope, he must feel we need one more thing at this point. So, God says," Little Miss Carson, the youngest of the Cole kids - let's give her an issue with her head. Matt and Cindy handled Riley's ACM so well, let's see how they handle this one." So, Carson had a CT scan the other day and the radiologist found that the bones behind her soft spot are starting to fuse together. Not good. Her head looks like it could fit into a toaster. The fuse is not letting her head grow the width way, but only the length way. So, she will be joinging Riley in seeing the Neurosurgeon.
So, God says, "This should keep Matt and Cindy busy for awhile. In the mean time, I will let Keegan be the healthy child."

Ok, now God....if you are reading this blog.....would you mind taking a few hours to explain WHY you believe that Matt and I can handle all of this??? I am dying to know!

It's ok, Mommy will clean it

.....spilled out of Riley's mouth yesterday morning at breakfast after she has spilled something on the table. And then keegan proceeded to say, "I want more to eat". Matt replied back, " What do you want? I'll get it." My sassy boy says," No, Mommy will get it."! What is it around here with those two? It is sure to say, Mommy is the cook and the cleaning lady around here! GEEZ! It is time to put them out on the street and fend for themselves!
Well folks.....I had weigh in for week # 2 this morning. I am down 2 lbs. That makes a total of 9 lbs in 2 weeks. I guess this is more the norm now that I am in the swing of things. I must say I had 2 disaster days this week. Maybe with out them I would have done a bit better. Oh well, 2 lbs is better than no pounds. I am really enjoying this dieting thing. My big disaster day this past week was at our Twins club meeting. I am one of the Co-presidents of the club. At these meetings we talk little business and lots about the issues we are having with our multiples. Every month we have a group of ladies who brings treats. YUMMY TREATS! Do you know how hard it is not to drowned our sorrows in treats???? Expecially when I was one of the ones who brought the treats? Cheese, sausage and crackers!! UMMM My favorite! AHHHHHHH..it is really tough. Except, I did do ok while I was at the mtg.......It was in the car on the way home when I started eyeing what was left of the cheese, sausage and crackers. YIKES. Good thing there wasn't a ton left or I would have been in BIG trouble. But 6 pieces of cheese, 5 pieces of sausage and 6 crackers is a enough to make my weight watchers frown. The good thing is I got right back up on the horse on Friday morning. It's tough, I am not gong to denie that.....But I am to despereate to lose this weight to give up!

Weigh in - week 1

Ok everyone...today is weigh in # 1 and lets say I was pretty surprised.
I lost 7 lbs this week. YIPPY! I have actually been feeling pretty good too. No starving at the end of the day, no wanting to cheat or snack on things I shouldn't be. The only thing I haven't been able to get a hang of is the drinking water part. I just feel like I am drowning myself with 8-10 glasses a day. Not only that, but after drinking so much, you become good pals with the potty too!.
So....a new week.....in the quest for a new me. Back to the gym tonight.....
If anyone has any thoughts or ideas for me to try....please feel free to leave it on my comments or email me. Every little bit will help!

HUGE correction

Ok, this must tell you how out of it I am. I listed in my blog prior that I am going to be 33 this year. Well, I'm not. Only 32. I must feel like I am 33....but no such luck.

Day number 4

As day number 5 rolls around in a few more hours, I am dying to step foot on my scale. I started Weight Watchers on Monday and things have been going really well. Actually, better than I had thought they would. I have been commited 110%. I also started working out everynight. We live about 6 blocks from a high school and their fitness center is open to the neighbors from7-9p. I made the mistake of going gung-ho the first night, but I learned by the second night that I am no where near the shape I thought I was in. My norm has been to go in and knock off a couple of miles btwn the bike and the treadmill. I love it. I feel so refreshed afterwards. I just can't believe that I have let my life slip like this. I used to be a competive swimmer and I used to thrive on this stuff, but something happend oh, about 10 yrs ago. I can tell this time around that things are really going ot be different. I have been staying in my point limit, actually with a few left over, but I'm not starving. I think the difference is that I have no time to think about food. Btwn 2 infants and 2 toddlers I barley have time to think about anything. We just fly by the seat of our pants around here. It's the only way.

It finally hit me

I have been struggling for the last few weeks on what I wanted to give up for Lent. Now that it has already begun, it's about time I get serious. As many of you know, I have been struggling with my weight. Actually, I have been struggling with it ever since college. I have tried every diet and almost every prescripted medication out there. I flew through Jenny Craig, lost 50 lbs, but at that time, I wasn't mature enough to keep it off. You have really got to want to do it in order for the weight to come off. I've even gone as far as singing up on Dr, Phils' online "weight loss challenge". I went on the site looking for a "diet" partner. Someone who could help me and I them. Well, For some reason, that didn't work out as planned. I did however met a friend. My friend Molly and I went looking for each other. Not on purpose, but we were both looking for a partner to help us through. I am sad that we didn't lose any weight, but very excited that I gained a new friend.
As I laid in bed this morning I thought to myself - man, my body hurts. I wonder if It would still hurt if I was 50lbs lighter? And Wham.....something smacked me right in the face. Yes, my body might still ache, but I would be 50 lbs lighter. So, I have decided to to give up food for Lent. Ok, not all food, but you know what I mean. I dug deep into the kitchen drawer and pulled out my weight watchers packet. I feel strong. I think I am finally serious about sheding this extra person I have been carring around for TOO DAMN LONG! I will be 33 come April, I have 4 children that need me not only as a mom, but as a playmate. I know 50lbs isn't going to cure everything, but it's a damn good start. I plan to lose weight for Lent this year, and many more to come.
I am woman, hear me roar! Watch out bikini's......in about 10 yrs, I'll be looking for ya!

Can you say, "BAD MOM"

Ok everybody...here I am complaining again. Seems to be the bases of my blogs these days. But no, really. I had a terrible night last night. I went to bed after I finished my nightly feeding - around 11:3o pm and felt like crap. I had the hardest time falling asleep. I do believe at some point I finally caught some zzzzzz's. BUT...I woke up around 2am with a terrible stomach ache. Didn't really think much of it because it was my first day of aunt flow. But after trying pepto, water, and everything I could think of, it was still there. As I lay there listening to my dear husband snore I just kept thinking how fast time was flying by. Oh my god...it was now 5am and still no rest. Matt's alarm was going and just wanted to hide my head under my pillow and never come out. Today we had a pretty busy day planned with getting the kids pictures take and Carson and Cooper needed to get another shot at the doctors.....so I knew I was eventually going to have to get my fat A*@ out of bed. 7:30am rolls by and my alarm goes off.....there is no stopping time, so I had to get up. It's all quite on the first floor so I make my way up to the shower...I open Keegans door, and WHAM..I step right into a puddle of vomit! Not only am I not feeling good...but Keegan is now sick also. So ya just know what kind of a day it's going to be. I rush to get Keegan cleaned up and just hoped to god that Riley wasn't sick also. She has had a cold that has been hang around here like flies on horse s*@#. I finally reach the bathroom, plunge my way into the shower and I hear Matt say......I trained Keegan to throw up in the garbage can. WHAT???? What about training him to barf in the toilet? Nope...Just more work for me to clean up. Matt's on his way to work, so what does he care.
I finish my oh so unlovely shower and head down stairs. Keegan at my heels barfing all the way down . It is now 9am and I need to be on the road with the little ones by 9:30. My mom shows up all ready for our big day out and she finds out it's canceled. Keegan still continuing to vomit. By now he has vomited 4 times and I still have to clean up the first mess! AHHHHHH
Moms in charge...... run off with the little ones.....get our shots.....return home to keegan still not feeling good, Me not feeling good, and all my help is now leaving. So here I sit after we all had an a little nap....sheets need to be done......oh yah, Riley threw up 2 days prior and I still haven't been up to change her sheets!!! I am totally up for the BAD MOM award!
Oh as I am sitting here.....Riley just had diahrea (sp) in here undies. OH MY GOD, HELP ME!

whoda thought

I have not been one who likes to spend money to have my haircut done by a fancy stylist. I am ashamed to say, that for most of my life I have delt with the young bloods of Master Cut ot Cost Cutters. I just can not see spending more than 15.00 to have my hairs cut. I can't do it. So, prior to Christmas I was looking for some place to take Riley, my 3 yr old, to have her first "professional" hair cut. I found a place here that specializes in kids cut beside the normal business of adults. So, I took Riley for her first cut and it was great. No, it wasn't Cost Cutters or Master Cuts. It's a cute little place btwn the locks here down by the river. Riley really enjoyed it and the cost was fantastic. So, I decided maybe it's time I face my own demonds and pay a little more to have someone do my hair right. So, I made an apt for the week after Christmas. Let's just say, It was terrific. I love the lady who does it. So, while I was there, Becky had a drawing for her customers......FREE HAIR SERVICE FOR A YEAR- with the booking of 2 more apts. I thought to myself hey.....I could schdule 2 more apt and take a chance right? What could I lose?
Well, low and behold, Becky called me a few days later stating that I had won her drawing of FREE HAIR SERVICE FOR A YEAR. Can you imagine???? Me of all people. I feel so bad for all of her regular customers who come to her on a regular basis because they are dedicated to her. Not me, I was trying a "oh, what the hell" apt. So, I sit and think to myself.......Me who has only had minor cuts.....ok, some big cuts.....what would I do with a "free year of hair service". My brain started turning. Well, I had been wanting a perm, so....oh what the hell....it's free! So I made my apt for a perm and whallah.....I was curly. After about 2 weeks or so, I wasn't real thrilled with my curls. Part of my head had taken and part had not taken as well. So, I made and another apt ....because it's FREE ...and wham....I was straight again So, back to being boring brownish black and straight I started thinking again.........How about higlights...that must be pretty expensive and something I would never do.....so once again, I made my apt and zip.......I
have an inverted bob and nice dirty blond highlights. I am so loving this free pampering stuff. I wish I could go everyday. I would go just for the wash and th head massage! talk about total relaxation!
Well, as of today....I love my hair. I will keep you posted if I think of anything else fun to do!

Ever have just one of those weeks?

I know I have been complaining about my life lately, but damn...It's been a rough one lately. Can I just say last week was the week from HE double hockeysticks! It is truely amazing that I survived it. I think everyones cabin fever is finally starting to sink in and the weather here hasn't been much help. It's actually a big tease to my older children. Who of course don't know the difference btwn 40 and -45 below zero until they can actually test it themselves. It's pretty bad when it's 30 out and my kids want to play outside without jackets on. Whoa- a heat wave. And on the negitive days when they want to go out, their snot freezes before I even get the storm door open. It's crazy. No, actually it's making my kids crazy!!! They want to be outside so bad......that being indoors is making them so naughty. The bickering, the tatletailing (sp?), every little thing is getting on my nerves! Well, the straw finally broke the camels back the other day, actually last Friday. The fighting had gone on all day btwn Riley and Keegan and Carson and Cooper felt the need to join in and cried pretty much all day. At about 4pm on Friday I had had it and snapped. I ended up calling my dear husband to ask if he could come home a bit early. As my husband arrived home, he found Cooper in the swing, Carson in the crib and the Riley and Keegan in bed with me under the covers. I think I freaked the kids out with my crying. Keegan could not have been any nicer to me. He is definately a "mamas boy". He was stroking my hair, rubbing his cheek up against mine, and asking me if I was ok. It was actually very cute! He will make a great husband some day! So, after Matt got everyone out of my bed, I continued to lay there and think to myself.......Tomorrow is Saturday....I wonder if I can get the day off. I spoke with my loving husband and he agreed that I deserved a break. So, the next question was.....oh what to do on my day off. I knew that if I stayed around town, I would end up feeling guilty for leaving my dear husband alone with 4 under 4, so I had to think of something good, something out of town. I ended up calling my dear friend Molly....aka Lost a sock...and was pouring my guts out to her on how bad my week had been and how I had just lost it. We chatted for awhile and she had mentioned that she would have loved to meet me half way....I in Wisconsin and she in Indiana....but she was having company that evening. Mind you..we only get to see each other once every 4 or so months and this time we had just seen her and her family a few weeks prior. It would be a miracle if we saw each other twice in one month. We had only been chatting for a

wee bit before her husband had called on her other line. She says, "I'll be right back". No longer than 5 seconds or so she comes backs and says, "I'm going to meet you". Oh my goodness. It must be a miracle......we are meeting twice in one month! I asked her about her company and she said it wasn't a problem to reschedule. I couldn't believe it. My friend, Carson's godmother.....was giving up her day to spend time with Riley and I in Kenosha. Can I just tell you ladies and gents....I love this lady! From the day that we meet on Dr. Phil's website we had an instant connection.

Saturday rolls around Riley and I jump into the "bus" and head to Kenosha...just a bit over 2 hours. I couldn't wait to hug her......Someone who knew what I had been going through..as she has a 3 yr old and also a newborn. I also had gotten the opportunity to meet her sister Sarah. What a lovely gal. Sarah.....YOU ROCK!

So, after a day of chatting, eatting, and shopping, I actually felt refreshed again.

Thank you Molly and Sarah, for spending your Saturday with us!
